Here’s how to get into World of Warcraft’s hidden zone

On the northern shores of the Eastern Kingdoms there is a zone that can be seen on Azeroth’s map, but unlike all other zones, it is still unmarked and therefore not part of the game. Some tricks are required to gain access to this zone.

The purpose of this small area is unknown, but it is speculated that it was intended to become the lush forest region of Quel’thalas, a zone that would later become associated with the The Burying Crusade Expansion was added to the game as a starting zone for the Blood Elves.

And since the original idea of Quel’thalas, or whatever the point of this zone was, was abandoned, this unfinished piece of land remained in the game that players couldn’t reach.

But of course not everyone lets that stop them. HeelvsBabyfaces video proves that even without private servers or shady dealings, any player can get into this zone if they’re willing to do a series of tricky things.

You can access this area through the Stratholme Dungeon in the Eastern Plaguelands, but I don’t want to reveal the method here. The video shows perfectly what to do. And the zone is exactly the same as one that is not yet finished Wow Zone: It’s full of invisible walls, placeholders and missing textures. But you can catch fish!
